The Day Care Centre is situated in a large, busy community building and we take up to 20 people per day. With staff and volunteers, it is our aim to support older people physically and mentally frail, to generally give them a purpose to their week. Our activities aim to interest and stimulate. These range from competitions, quizzes and group games to music and movement, arts and crafts. Participation is always the individual’s choice.
A small daily charge is made to include transport to and form the Centre and the midday meal. We also offer a hairdressing service twice a week.
We are open from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. 5 days a week. For further details please call the number above. Referral is through the Adult Services Department (Gosport).
