Our Day Care Centre is in a sheltered housing complex and accepts people from Alresford and outlying villages. Our objective is to support older people, who have mental and physical disabilities, so that they can maintain their independence. We offer friendship, activities, counsel and will act as a confidant with any domestic, personal or financial worries, if required.
The Centre opens 2 days a week, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A small daily charge is made, which includes all transport to and from the Day care Centre and the midday meal. The Adult Services Department (Winchester & Andover) financially supports the Centre, as does local fundraising for the Amenity Funds.
We are very fortunate to have a committed band of volunteers who support our work, but we are always looking for more.
