Impact Report 2021

Age Concern Hampshire (ACH) has been supporting older people and their carers throughout the COVID pandemic and thereafter.

This report sets out our impact on local people in 2021 and reflects the hardwork of our entire team. Over the course of the pandemic, our teams have worked tirelessly to support older people and their carers as well as the NHS, social care services and the wider voluntary sector. We have developed our offer to ensure vulnerable people have access to efficient services following long periods of social distancing and isolation.

Moving forward ACH will continue to develop and enhance our services to ensure older people are given opportunities to make the most of their ageing journey. Even though we are still living with COVID, we will strive to ensure our clients, their carers and families have access to support to ensure they achieve the very best quality of life.

"My volunteer is a very good companion, he always makes sure I am ok and checks if I need anything. He has assisted me with all kinds of wonderful things, and recently helped me with information on sell my car. I have nothing but praise for all the help and support he has given to me."
