A cream tea event at Lockswood Care and Wellbeing Centre in Locks Heath, owned and operated by Age Concern Hampshire, welcomed clients and members of the public for an afternoon of scones donated by Ancasta Grove Care Home as well as cake, refreshments, and a raffle. The event raised over £200. The charity also welcomed along members of the local Rotary Club to enjoy the cream tea with clients and to present the cheque from the former Rotary President; Bob Hitchins.
Lockswood Care and Wellbeing Centre provides day care for older people, including those living with dementia, offering a safe and friendly environment where clients can enjoy companionship, personalised support, activities, and services such as transport and Foot Care. The centre plays a crucial role in helping older individuals remain active and independent in their communities.
