Managing Dementia Care

The number of people living with dementia in the UK is increasing, with an estimated 982,000 people currently living with the condition. This number is projected to rise to 1.4 million by 2040, reflecting the increasing need for comprehensive care and support services

The Role of Family Carers

Caring for a loved one with dementia can be really demanding. We know how hard it is to juggle caregiving alongside work and everyday life and how quickly it can lead to stress, exhaustion, and feeling isolated. That is why having easy access to understanding and compassionate support matters so much.

At our Care and Wellbeing Centres we are here to help you with breaks when you need them, practical advice, and a welcoming community that understands what you are going through. You do not have to face this journey alone. We are with you every step of the way.

Dementia can be challenging, but getting help shouldn't be!

Specialised Dementia Care

At our Care and Wellbeing Centres in Dibden, Yateley, New Milton, and Locks Heath we provide specialised dementia care in a warm and welcoming environment designed with your loved ones’ needs in mind. Our friendly, trained staff lead carefully designed sessions that help stimulate memory, improve focus, and encourage meaningful engagement, all delivered with a person centred approach that respects each individual’s unique preferences and abilities.

These activities do more than keep the mind active. They also support emotional wellbeing and help improve the overall quality of life for everyone living with dementia. In the words of our clients…

“I would like to thank you all for the kindness, care and individual attention you give to Eileen. She is always pleased to come to the Centre and it gives her something to look forward to when she is slowing down and losing interest in lots of things. She is generally much happier in the evenings on the days she has been with you. I also benefit from the extra free time and can relax knowing she is well cared for. I am grateful to everyone involved in her care. Thank you.”
