Our Christmas Campaign

We’ve launched our annual Christmas campaign, Past, Present, and Future, to support older people through the challenges of the winter season. This year’s campaign shines a spotlight on three key issues that can have a serious impact on later life: winter pressures, falls, and isolation and loneliness. By raising awareness of these challenges, we aim to generate vital funds and attract new volunteers, helping to secure the longevity of our essential services across the county.

Age Concern Hampshire Christmas Campaign

Volunteers are central to our work all year round. From offering companionship to providing practical support across our services, their dedication ensures that older people in Hampshire receive care, connection, and independence.

We’re also inviting donations from individuals and corporate supporters. Every contribution, big or small, helps fund essential services and allows Age Concern Hampshire to respond flexibly to the evolving needs of older people across the county.

Our Crowdfunding Campaign

As part of our 40th Anniversary, we have launched a crowdfunding campaign to secure the future of our much-loved Social Groups. These are a lifeline for many older people facing loneliness and isolation. Due to funding cuts, these groups are under threat. We are determined to keep them free and accessible to all, but we need your support to make that happen.

Every contribution makes a difference! Your support will help safeguard essential services for older people across Hampshire.

Please donate via our Crowdfunder campaign by 2nd October 2025 to support our 40th Anniversary crowdfunder appeal.

Help at Home

Providing Essential Support for Independent Living

As the UK’s ageing population continues to grow, maintaining independence in later life has become a significant priority for older adults and their families. According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), by 2041, there will be more than 20 million people aged 65 and over in the UK. This increasing number of older adults highlights the growing demand for services that help individuals maintain their independence at home.
Age Concern Hampshire is addressing this need through their Help at Home service, which is designed to support older people in living independently and comfortably in their own homes. The charity’s professional and friendly Home Helpers offer tailored support to make everyday tasks more manageable for older individuals.
